Good Morning,
On Friday August 16th, we will begin a new school year! I am truly excited about all of the opportunities this school year brings!
For 6th graders...
-On the first day of school, please bring your instrument and your Standard of Excellence book from last year. We will review previous music exercises and begin learning more music as the school year moves on. You will receive an RCMS Band Handbook on the first day that will need to be brought home, reviewed with your parents, and brought back to school with a parent signature. This will allow me to know that you have read and understood the policies we have in place with the RCMS band program. I will also have your email addresses so that you will be "in the know" with all of the important information regarding band at RCMS.
For 7th/8th graders...
-On the first day of school, please bring your instrument. We will discuss the school year and begin to prepare for all of the performances that we will have. You will receive an RCMS Band Handbook on the first day that will need to be brought home, reviewed with your parents, and brought back to school with a parent signature. This will allow me to know that you have read and understood the policies we have in place with the RCMS band program. I will also have your email addresses, if I don't already, so that you will be "in the know" with all of the important information regarding band at RCMS.
