If you haven't recently, please check the calendar of events to ensure that all event dates are in your planners for the rest of the school year.
Our next concert is the Java N' Jazz concert next Sunday February 9th at 2PM in the middle school commons. Jazz students must arrive to the middle school at 1:15PM for a rehearsal with the high school jazz band. Refreshments will be served!
I am extremely excited about some new learning resources that we will be utilizing during the Spring semester. If you look on the right side of the RCMS Band Website homepage, you will see a link to a short video clip. This is something that I will be doing regularly to help keep you informed about the middle school band program, as well as to help your child in band class! I will be posting videos of myself working on concert band music, as well as supplemental videos to help your child understand material we have covered in class. Please keep an eye out for these clips so you, the parent, can see exactly what your child is working on in class! And especially for you, the student, to help with your at-home practicing. I hope you take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with this technology, it just might be your greatest asset in becomming the best instrumentalist in the Reed-Custer MS Band Program!
